That was NOT a good finale, because it ended with "Dr. Sam Beckett never returned home."
I mean, what the fuck is that?
Why not just say, "This is the end. There will be no sequels. We have removed all hope from the main character."
The cast and crew and everyone involved with the show wanted to continue. They wanted to at the very least do a movie. Universal pulled the plug, and has never given them the go-ahead to do anything else.
So I don't call that a good finale. I call it a fucking rip off. We deserved more.
