According to a friend of mine, a article he read stated that Corporations are trying to jack up the price of DVD's like they do to videos now adays. Now i'm sure your familiar with this notion, the idea that when movies don't come in for sell-through there usually priced at around 108$ or so, for the store to buy copies. Apparently they want to do the same to DVD's, jacking the price up across the board, so instead of paying 26 to 30 dollars (average price DVD)it would be more like 40 duckets. Now, i must say, I like the more put together DVD's, like the Ones you guys put together, and I must say that not to many DVD's have extra shit at all. I mean a chapter search is called an extra feature? my ass. Anyway I just wanted to know what your feelings on this were, since in my experience working in a video store, and in now a movie theatre (I'm moving up the chain slowly but surely) is that most poop-dvd's come out on sell-through on the street date, and the Higher End DVD's (Ghostbusters,Mallrats) are put out at a later date, and are therefore priced accordingly. Anyway, just wanted to know what you thought???
