To do something more insightful, to say nothing of more enjoyable and pleasant to listen to, than Springsteen. But that's just me.
You're right about the context, though. It'd break me up more if it weren't STILL his most overplayed song, radio or video. On VH1 Classic, they always play the unplugged version of that, accompanied by Oliver's Army which they CONSISTENTLY mislabel as "What's So Funny ('Bout Peace, Love and Understanding)." If you're really lucky, you get one of the two Veronica videos they show. *sigh*
