It gives unfair advantages to people who otherwise would not get into college. Do you honestly believe being black is twice as important as a perfect SAT score? Please, if everyone is equal, then they are equal, just that simple. As for Trent Lott, he was paying a compliment to Strom, who has since 48 changed his opinions, also I highly doubt Lott truly meant that compliment.
