Let's give posts on a webboard the same courtesy we'd give, say, a college thesis.

In other words, if something is obviously not FACT, but someone's opinion, they needn't clutter up the works by cautioning everything with "I think" or "I believe" or "in my humble opinion" or whatever.

Obviously the guy's speaking for himself. No need to make him feel like a jackass simply because he gave an honest opinion.

Or is someone's ass in dire need of smooching?
