You're assuming that Kevin is strickly sticking up for his movie. Like, he posted Eberts rave and said "See, Lord of the Film Critics said it worked. It worked." Kevin simply made a slight comment and left. To me I thought it was funny and didn't believe it was strickly the comment of a guy wounded because someone had a problem with "Jay and Silent Bob Strikes Back". With the exception of last week's activity Kevin hardly on here, so maybe Kevin jumped on to make an observation and left just to as a joke--sorta like the guy witnesses people talking behind his back then appears to chime in. I thought it was funny. It's too slight to be substantial. And comparing such to a broad, political statement is just rediculous.
