That's my entire point. We say all sorts of shit on this board without qualifying it with "I think, my opinion is..." etc. You wouldn't say it if it weren't your opinion, obviously. Why should someone feel the need to clarify an opinion about a movie, if they don't get crabbed at for not clarifying their opinion about international politics, or civil rights, or any subject that -- in my opinion (HA!) -- it's more important to be clear about?
And yeah, it's kind of funny for Smitty to jump in the conversation, but on the other hand, it's going to make people nervous, like if you say something even SLIGHTLY negative oh no Kevin could see and comment and make you feel stupid and hate you forever oh nooooo!
Honest feedback is what this place is supposed to be about. It's a fan-lovefest most of the time, sure, but we gotta be free to criticize too, or it's insincere. I mean...look at the other replies to Kevin here. Does it not make you want to chuck up your morning coffee? Blech.
Anyway, I just don't want people to feel too intimidated to say what's on their mind, that's all. We GOTS to keep it real.
