Damn...can't wait for someone to have an orignal negative review of AOTC. People always say the same thing. Criticize the dialogue, and then praise the SFX. You know what, it is in this "praising" that filmmakers feel they can use a ton just to diguise the crummy script (which it wasn't, in this case). So in a way, you are part of the problem.

Secondly, you say you bought it just 'cause it was Star Wars. So, I take it you're a reasonable fan, meaning you've seen the orignal trilogy. Dude, those films are SO full of bad dialogue and poor writing. I mean, mad props to Kasdan and Leigh Brackett, but all 3 original Star Wars films have their fare share of crappiness. I realized this today watching Star Wars.

"Good against the living is one thing. Good enough againt a remote? That's something else altogether." Right.

Oh well. You're entitled.
