Attack of the Clones was boring. The effects were boring, everything was boring. It was a bad movie. The effects weren't even good, I mean, they were eye candy, sure, but you could tell Lucas got together with his yes men and created some new effects then wrote a fucking script around it.
That's what pisses me off about Star Wars, is how seriously it takes itself. The first one really didn't, it was just campy as shit and a big melodramatic space saga. Then the second one took it a little deeper, probably because Lawrence Kasdan wrote it, and the third one was like a toy commercial.
Then Lucas decides he's gonna "tell the stories" he's been working on for like 20 years. Whatever.
