Just to further clarify (since all responses seem to be of the "I kind of think the Bible says this" variety), neither Metatron nor specific "choirs" of angels are mentioned in the Bible. I believe the Angel heirarchy devloped out of the Gnostic Gospels and the Apocrypha as well as other more fictional sources. The Bible only mentiones "cherubim" and "serpahim" as classifications of angels and does not give them a rank of importance. Very few angels are mentioned by name with Michael the Archangel, Lucifer the Morningstar, "The Angel of the Lord," and Gabriel being the only ones that come to mind. Seraphim are only mentioned once in Scripture (Isaiah 6) and are described as human in form with 3 sets of wings, two cover their face, two cover their feet, and two enable them to fly. I think Kevin stuck to one set so Hans Grueber didn't hurt his back any more than he did.
End of Sunday Schhol lesson.
