This type of board is relatively simple to maintain, non-imposing to net newbies... it threads LOGICALLY... all you have to read is the topic line, you don't have to sift through EVERY ENTIRE MESSAGE to go where you want to... and most importantly, it's what you see is what you get.
Nothing hidden, nothing flashy. There you are.
Plus Kevin likes it and he owns the place. So that's it.
