Maybe, but Hooper and Banky are known for cracking jokes on eachother just like when Banky goes to Meow Mix and says.."Bring on the free hooch"..and then they just rip into eachtother with oneliners. I think of Banky as just Holden's best friend. No more, no less. Just my idea.
