: That movie is filmaking at its highest. Whoever thought that Marlon

Well no offense but both Requiem and its director are over-rated and
pretentious. I hate films and directors that try overly hard to be showy
and arty. It was a decent film but not one I'll ever likely watch again
not to mention its been done before and done better and done to
death. I definitely think it was a very bad idea to let this guy anywhere
near Batman. If Batman is to be done live action again (and frankly it
shouldn't be as the animated series is untoppable) then it should be
done as a Noir style detective film and tone down the super hero
crap. Batman isn't a superhero, he's the world's greatest detective.
