It didn't totally close for me because I thought this film wasn't directed at the fans as much as possible. It really was just a series of short cameos. I just wish he'd have taken out the non-askew cameos out and put them in another movie down the line. Really, I'm mourning the death of the favorite characters, Holden, Dante, Randal, and my favorite Brodie. I just think it was too much stuff to put into one movie. Deciding to make it the final View-Askew movie just put too much rush into the plot. Sorry, but I did laugh the entire time, it was amazingly funnmy, just not how I imagined it.
Then again, did anyone expect/like the ending to Mallrats where he tells the future of the characters? That was totally against View-Askew logic. Oh Well. And the original ending to Clerks where Dante gets shot? No way, bad endings. J&SB-SB had a great ending- It did make my day when Jay got with Justice.
