I would appreciate any information relating to the symbolism and metaphors in the movie "Dogma." Specifically, what is the significance of skeeball, and the sign MGD? What is skeeball? Why do the three characters who are Jason Lee's associates appear in street hockey attire? The MGD sign is displayed constantly during the bar scene. Does MGD have any symbolic importance beyond Miller Genuine Draft? Do any other symbols or metaphorical statements exist throughout the movie?
