Sure I will.
Answer #1: Skeeball is a game I have only ever seen played in Kevin's movies (presumably it's popular in Jersey?). It's God's favorite game, second only to playing dice with the universe.
Answer #2: They are dressed in street hockey gear to represent the fact that street hockey is an evil, dangerous sport. It kills, kids! Let's stick to sidewalk activities like hopscotch, and huffing glue.
Answer #3: MGD sponsored. Either that or Kevin just *really* wanted to remind the public of the quality of a fresh, cold Miller Lite (in the can, of course). Ahhh.
Answer #4: Watch this movie with a candle burning and you will see your entire future in front of you.
No seriously. Let's think about this. If you read the title backwards, it's "Amgod". Is Kevin telling us HE IS actually God, or are the first two letters Alanis Morrissette's initials? Coincidence? I think not! As for the name Bethany, she's the descendent of Mary, mother of Jesus, who was born in BETHlehem! Coincidence? Ye of little faith!
I'm sure there's plenty of symbolic significence that I'm missing, but it's however you wanna interpret it.

actually, skeeball does seem to be in every roller-disco in the USA
: I would appreciate any information relating to the symbolism and metaphors in the movie "Dogma." Specifically, what is the significance of skeeball, and the sign MGD? What is skeeball? Why do the three characters who are Jason Lee's associates appear in street hockey attire? The MGD sign is displayed constantly during the bar scene. Does MGD have any symbolic importance beyond Miller Genuine Draft? Do any other symbols or metaphorical statements exist throughout the movie?
