20 minutes of dead-silence says Kev.
Vinnie concurs...

...but what do YOU guys really THINK of the missing opening to "Mallrats?"
It's almost like you've taken the fifth on it...

Vincent does mention that it's "very expensive?"
What was so costly? Was it the choreography and the cuing of the extras (to say nothing of the main stars) or was it just the damned crain you used?

What DID you use to shoot that with?

Who is that playing Svenning's first assistant?

...and who was that playing The Governor?
Her comic-timing was spot-on as far as I could see.

Actually, I think that whole sequence was pretty funny...what was the nature of that test-audience you showed it to?

I'm also curious about the little cuts such as the snippets of dialogue between Brodie and Renee...to say nothing of T.S. and Brodie (ie. "What DO you do for money?")

I always find it a little odd that lines of dialogue which usually adds to barely 10 seconds of screen time are cut for "time considerations."

Vinnie's fairly clinical about what needs to be cut and why, but the idea of seconds counting towards (or away from ) "time considerations" has always scoobied a sub-amateur like myself...
