I'm waiting for this. Before seeing Vol. 2, I was right there with the logic that no one wants to watch a three-hour grindhouse homage, but now I'm not so sure.
I actually *liked* Volume 1 better, it was more revelatory for me, and that's wierd because I have no love for martial-arts movies or even action movies in general. Usually, I'd gravitate more towards the movie that has character and plot depth, but not so much this time.
On the other hand, I think Volume 2 is the more repeatedly-watchable one. And they work fine as their own self-sustainable movies. But yeah, I wanna see them cut together.
I was just ranting some months back, when VOLUME 1 came out, about the concept of the intermission break. Movies should start using this again.
