You really need to get out and meet more people.
One of my very bestest friends in the entire world is vegan, because that's how she chooses to live her life. She doesn't force it on anyone else... and she doesn't wig out when I eat meat in front of her. You seem to be quite sheltered, and need to experiance life before making such judgements on people in general.
