I'm so fucking pissed off.

Yesterday was an amazing day. Me, my co-director, the guy who did the soundtrack and an actor all recorded the commentary for my first feature film, and it was amazing. I've heard a lot of commentaries in my time, and though i've never heard a VA one, i'm guessing this one was a sure rival. Informative, packed with behind the scenes gossip, trivia and info, and hilarious to boot, i was sure things couldn't get any better. we finished off, then two of them went home whilst me and another guy stayed to sync it up and check it through, etc.

Turns out - someone had kicked a wire, and none of it recorded. It's lost forever. We're re-recording this Tuesday, but it'll never be as good again. We'll be trying to recreate the last one, it won't be as funny, original, or entertaining i'm sure. it's so fucking typical, and it was the worst possible thing that could have happened at that point.

I know i shouldn't be complaining when there are people far worse off than me, but i am, for better or for worse. sorry to use this place as a blog, but i needed somewhere to rant.
