The only thing they don't want you to do is Show the movie/game/show for personal gain: i.e. if you charged people to come over and watch Jersey Girl on your plasma TV. I agree, the company's put alot of time and money into producing movies on DVD...it's not like everyone is doing it. I for one don't, I'd rather have the FULL DVD than a recorded one. That's my story, and I'm sticking to it!
Actually, my computer takes DVD+R and this program I use will let me compress it all. So eveything fits on the whole disk; all the extras, menu screen, commentaries, etc. But to add, my dad made an interesting point the other day. We buy these dvd's from stores and they are so easily scratched. We should be allowed to make copies so we didn't just blow our money away when the kids get ahold of our dvd collections.
