: Okay all. My husband just downloaded this semi expensive software that is able to copy any and all DVD's, regardless of any copyright. I admit I have played with it a little bit, but my overall opinion is this software shouldn't be available to own. The movie industry puts so much money into making, packaging, advertising, and distributing movies for us, and it's not right to be able to just copy it for free.

: Please give me your input.

You will not be able to copy the whole DVD, believe me. If you buy a DVD-R...it won't have enough space availble to record the whole DVD...

But on the copying...what is the difference if you copy a VHS? Or a show off the television? The only thing they don't want you to do is Show the movie/game/show for personal gain: i.e. if you charged people to come over and watch Jersey Girl on your plasma TV. I agree, the company's put alot of time and money into producing movies on DVD...it's not like everyone is doing it. I for one don't, I'd rather have the FULL DVD than a recorded one. That's my story, and I'm sticking to it!
