It's because of behavior like that that we ended up with Bush in the first place. While I was no fan of Gore, I'd certainly rather have given him a shot than Bush. It's all well and good to make a statement, but when that statement means that we end up with a fucktard like this for 4 (and probably 8) years... you're making the wrong statement.
I can understand feeling the futility of it. I can understand not wanting to vote for someone you don't fully back. But if you vote, it'll help make a difference between 4 more years of Bush, and trying something different. Not necessarily better, but at least different. And I find it difficult to believe it could be worse.
