It might be a different guy, but there was a great spot for Hollywood Video a few years back that had a guy who does at least 80% of the voice-overs for trailers.
A customer of the video store would come up to the counter, ask the clerk what the movie is about and the voice-over guy would come out from under the counter and describe it in his trademark style and delivery. Then, go back under the ocounter.
I think he had a beard.....
