I think you are entirely incorrect. The reality is that Kevin Smith makes interesting movies. Considering that he is just a guy, one you can actually picture having to roll his loose coin for some extra cash until payday, he has done an awesome job. I bet he does not roll his own coin anymore...
I thought Dogma was awesome when I saw it, and Jay's character is supposed to swear, that is a long established fact. Chasing Amy is about homosexuality, how do you not discuss it in the film when that is the topic? Loved Clerks, that scintillating dialogue gets me laughing all the time. J & SBSB was funny all the way through. Bong Sabers! As a Star Wars fan too, I loved it. The inside jokes and references to a variety of movies, tv, etc make all Kevin's movies a joy to watch.
I am looking forward to Jersey Girl as the movie where Kevin makes the world say, "look, no stoners", and "this guy makes good movies."
