Affleck is an asset because of his ability pick up the character subtleties most actors could
not. He finds those little things that are seemingly imperceptible to most. His characters
seem totally identical with no visible change between movies because he expects much more
intense attention paid to his portayals than most people are willing to offer.

Similar to saved by the Bell star Elizibeth Berkely, Ben is way ahead of his time at
understanding how to work the medium. The faster project turnover requires a simplicity of
mind. Something similar to a baby who can't yet speak. That is where Mr. Affleck is taking
the entire acting industry. "From the mouth of babes" it has been said and I agree. Although,
maybe I give Mr. Affleck credit for more power than he has, but that is only because I know
he should have the power to transcend acting as it was and bring it down to the level of the
likes or Ms. Berkely.

True acting, not on the level of Mr. Affleck's though, can be seen today in the work of
Keannu Reeves, Resse Witherspoon and Ashton Kutcher. Take another look at Mr. Affleck's
work and you will realize, it is the complexity of character portrayal that he has conciously
left out for the benefit of all our simple minds. Open that small mind of yours to the
imperceptible subtly that most misdiagnose as a complete lack of talent, ability, or effort.
