And I agree.
But I think the point is that blacks don't want to be identified as just a color & want a greater association. I believe the racial injustices they've gone through has something to do with that.
Not that you don't understand that, but I think minorities (no matter what type they are) simply don't want to be grouped.
But again, I agree that if you're not from whatever country originally, then you should just be called American or whatever color you are.
My ancestors were from all over Europe, so I simply cannot be called (insert country here)-American even if I wanted to.
