Louis Gossets character is a Marine Corp drill instructor.Gunny Hartman is also a
Marine Corp drill instructor.The only place to become one of those is on Parris
Island S.C.They were trained in the exact same place and they were taught the
exact same way to instruct recruits.I do realize it's only a movie,but thats pretty
consistent storytelling.
