was a remake. i heard that it was an old movie from the UK.
speaking of 28 days later - i saw it with my parents one weekend, and my dad said that it had a lot of similarities to "The Omega Man" starring Charleton Heston. don't know though, i've never seen it.

: Looks maybe promising, but I kind of wish they would have done an entirely DIFFERENT movie rather than a remake. That's what made '28 Days Later' so great, even though it borrowed from all sorts of zombie movies, it wasn't a blatant remake.
