In this case you have to take it from the person was there. Since Black Mamba NEVER died, was only assumed dead, she DOESN't count herself as the ninth victim, but the tenth, the ONLY survivor.

No. The death of a fetus that IS being carried to term is viewed by the law as a PERSON. At least in NEW JERSEY. While the mother may terminate the pregnancy up until the sixth month, if you are, let's say, drunk driving and kill a six months pregnant woman who intended to carry the child to term, you will be charged with two counts of vehicular homicide, involuntary or voluntary manslaughter, or whatever plea your defender can get for you.
Unborn babies BEING carried to term are considered lives. I know, it's a weird country.
: I don't know why I caught that or why it resonates so much, but it really threw me off. Otherwise, I'd say the film was perfect. The gore wasn't too over-the-top, the dialogue was extremely well done and each scene had me in awe of the perfection that I was witnessing.
I don't know why you caught it either, but it shouldn't resonate that much. See it again and count the corpses in the chapel, I'm sure you're mistaken..
