Firstly, I have to point out that I am pathetic, as I am, like, shitting my pants over the mere prospect of facelessly communicating with someone that I don't even know. That said...
In that "Watching movies with..." piece, you said that the martyrdom of John Proctor does not impress you, because its all about his name (how the world sees him?). This is juxtaposed to More, whose sacrifice is for his soul-for his faith. This seemed to be of way more value to you.
My question is, in a way, could it not be said that More's sacrifice is easier than Proctor's, as his faith assures him that his soul will move on to heaven? I don't mean to discredit the idea of sacrifice for faith; I just wanted to ask you something psuedo-intelligient.
Will I be able to find this film on dvd in any old retail center come payday, or will I have to put more of an effort into finding it? I just recently read the aforementioned article, and am now interested. Merely 'cause you like it. Once again, pathetic.
Umm...you rule school!!!
