i gotta admit, i was really excited to hear they were coming out with new material. so, yeah, it was somewhat of a letdown. but then again, everybody's older, navarro married carmen electra (okay, i can't really hold that against him. any one of us would have done the same thing, given the opportunity.) and yeah, the buzz surrounding them a dozen or so years ago was immense and culturally, it was a way different time. it felt like they were trying a bit too hard to create magic and it just fell flat. admittedly, that's a tough thing to do. some bands do it and pull it off. others don't.
