Well the pluses on the first: -cheap
-could be good if dialouge is sharp
-its good to start small
CONS: - wrestling movies usually suck (i.e. Ready to Rumble)
-needs more plot to make it fly
Second idea PROS: -interesting concept
-cool villian
-loosely based on real events (which is always cool)
CONS: - it would cost alot
-somewhat unique idea... and Hollywood is scared of that
I personally like the second idea a bit better, but for a first movie i would work on the script for your first idea and add more plot and stuff, then shoot that for cheap.
