: Why do all of you get upset when someone reminds us that kevin screwed his fans.

Kevin's shown an INSANE devotion to his friends. Half the New Jersey premiere of Chasing Amy from people from this board, for Christ's sake. He's organized multiple film festivals for his friends, in his hometown, for an amazingly small pittance... and when there were so many people last time around that couldn't get in? He doubled the length! He never skimps on DVD bonuses, always does his damnedest to get as much material out to the viewers. He tours the country, talking to colleges and comic book shows, when he could be at home in Jersey or L.A. with his beautiful wife and daughter, making a lot more money polishing scripts or having a lot more fun doing small acting bits. What more do you fucking want?

He made a small poster offer... and he never said that they were going to come on any sort of timetable, he was upfront in saying he had more pressing projects first.

And after all the amazing shit Kevin has done and continues to do, YOU'RE getting pissed over a three-dollar autographed poster taking some time to get to you because Kevin's in post on what looks to be a fucking AMAZING new movie?

: Its not like Kevin killed our firstborn but damnit, people have a right to be pissed. Stop responding and answering for kevin. Kevin's a grown man and I'm sure he's fully aware of what he did.

You really just don't fucking get it. "He's fully aware what he did". You're talking like he's a fucking cat that accidentally shit outside of the litter box! Good Christ...

I mean, yeah, in this one situation, I am gonna pull "oldbie" rank... I've been around here for six years and at every turn, I have been amazed at how good he's been to us. When I was 17, in 1996, my dad took me to the Happy Trails festival in Red Bank... because y'know you don't trust a 17 year old with a 4 hour drive, you barely trust them with going out for milk... and you know what? Years later, Kevin's still asking "Oh, how's your dad doing?"

Four years of film school for 100,000 dollars? And I can damn well tell you, I've learned more about film from the cost of the internet connection for 6 years for this board and the gas money for five or six trips to Red Bank... because Smith's such a giving accessable guy... than I damn well did at "The S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University".

Man, you're completely wrong and you don't even fathom how wrong you are.

Mike
