In my personal opinion, you're being really petty. Kevin has done an incredible amount for his fans, and I'd like to think we'd have the courtesy to let something this insignificant go.
I'm betting he WILL sign those damn posters, too. And you're all gonna feel like assholes when he does.
Or, you know, maybe people as self-absorbed, and with such an incredible sense of entitlement, never feel bad about judging someone with a lot of commitments and very little free time. I wouldn't know.
There's not another filmmaker on this wide green earth who would even consider doing half the things Kevin does for us. You know what? If anybody thinks this is reason enough to stop supporting him, then turn in your decoder ring and your SuperFan badge and get the fuck out. You're not needed. Any true fan would have a little more respect and understanding, or at least a little more patience and faith.
It's NOT like buying anything. It's like someone giving you a present, a great movie tailored to the fans, and then saying they'll give you ANOTHER PRESENT ON TOP OF THAT. And then you sitting around constantly whining "where's my oooottttthhhhher present, mommy? you PROMISED!"
Well, guess what. Shit happens. Life is messy and hard, and Mommy's got bills to pay. If she doesn't take you to the zoo today, it's not going to end your fucking life. Grow up. There are more important concerns.
