I would very enthusiasticly(sp?) recommend the DVD "An Evening with Kevin Smith" for this, as he all but throws down a blueprint and a blessing.
It is the reason I am a filmaker today. (yeah I know it only came
out a few weeks ago, but it is potent shit, and I shit you not,
I AM NOW a Filmaker as a result of this AWESOME DVD!
And pick yourself up a copy of the book (which has
Kevins very high praise onthe back cover, "Feature Filmaking at
Used Car Prices, How to Write, Produce, Direct, Shoot, Edit, and Promote
a Feature-Length Movie for Less Than $15,000". About this book Kevin
says, "Without Ricks (Schmidt)book, Clerks would have never made it
past this page.". Now I don't pretend to know what Kevin is talking
about there, but I'm sure glad it did't happen, how bout you? You'd
better get this book before SOMETHING ELSE happens that nobody knows
what your talking about (Your Movie) and grab yourself a camera
(You can get a really cheap 16mm on Ebay, or a hi8 at WalMart for
about $285 that you can indiscriminantly shoot for days and get
instant watchable (and SHOWABLE!) results!). Shit, I've told too
much. Mus'nt create EVEN MORE competition. Er' Good Luck!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

: Crew at askew,
