Is reading the books? fuck me, thinking a movie should be able to stand on its own. I haven't seen the new one, but the first one was awesome in terms special effects and the whole world it portrayed. Aside from that, a very dumb plot that may have been tolerable on the book, but didn't translate well to film. I've read some HP ATCOF reviews and they are pretty much saying the same thing.
