Hmmm, well where to start really?
Trying to get a prod co to read a script in England is, well, it's like you asked someone to stab a small child with a compass. In the eye. Yes, that eye!
I have yet to write it up on a computer, prefering the ancient art of chalk and slate.
But having previous experience with some short scripts being cast aside like so much boiled ham at a barmitsfa. I have decided to follow the example of this board's illustrious leader and go solo (ish).
Besides, this is the script reading process in England.
Checklist

Do you know the writer personally?
Does the script refer to a time before 1900?
Has the writer ever slept with, or is planning to sleep with, Madonna?
No?
File in bin and release the hounds.
Would you recommend going straight to the states for some intelligent script evaluation??
