I wasn't around here pre-Chasing Amy but I wouldn't be shocked if:

"a romantic comedy? what the fuck, clerks was edgy, mallrats was balls out funny, now you're doing some shitty romantic comedy? fuck you kevin!"

you'll probably love Jersey Girl, buy the DVD, rave about the eventual cut scenes and Affleck's whitty commentary.
then the next movie will come out, we'll learn Orlando Jones is cast as Fletch's wacky neighbor and the whole thing will start all over again...
