Communication in real life is based on a vast number of things. If you tried to talk to somebody on-line the way you did in real life, then how, exactly, would you convey body language? Noises? Those are just two examples.
-Ok, sure, whatever. When you get back to high school next year, go to the biggest person you see and speak to them in online-speak. Make sure to get these magical body languages and noises just right also. Then you may understand. It is more about courtesy.
