I don't want to say juvenile, but its so NOT what we are. I have been with the guy five years. We had a union ceremony at Kings Dominion and a honeymoon in California. Boyfriends are the guys I went out with for a few months, not that there were that many.
But until the laws change, he isn't my husband. So I call him my life partner. Partner for short. I dont say life partner cause that sounds too sappy, although thats what I feel most of the time talking about him. It just seems to make more sense then calling him my boyfriend. Although we still pass IM's back and forth in class.
