Can anyone here be a little honest, get off KS's dick for a second, and tell me if I'm alone on this or if you agree?
Clerks- genius.
Mallrats- a fun throwback to the old days of "teen tits" movies
Chasing Amy- Kevin's best and last great work.
Dogma- okay, but not fully realised.
J&SBSB- fun, but not much of a movie.
In MY opinion, Clerks gave us a hint of genius, Amy proved KS a master of the form, but the rest of the flicks were a little disappointing.
I love Kevin's stuff, but I just wish he would let his talent shine through instead of trying to hook up his pals.
I know this is gonna piss people off, but I'm a little glad he's shutting down the Askewniverse.
Maybe a fresh start will re-charge his creative batteries so he can give us more of what we love about his work in the first place.
