: I can see where you're coming from. Personally, I really do enjoy all of his films, and it's not just a case of filmmaker loyalty (I gave that shit up after the second Batman flick, but let's not go into the whole Tim Burton thing again). I do agree that no matter how much I love the characters, it is time to move on, and I think Kev knows that too, which explains JSBSB. It's a shitload of fun. It's a graduation party, where you know you'll never see most of these people ever again, but you've gotta have one last blowout where you invite EVERYONE. Kev's not out to say anything terribly meaningful with this movie, he just wanted one last REALLY good party, and who throws a party better than Jay and Silent Bob?

Man. I gotta say I'm blown away that this reply was not hostile. I dig your honesty, and it seems I'm not alone in my opinion. Clerks was so different from anything else that it worked.
Here's to Kevin, and let's all hope he brings more innovation to the cinema and blows our minds in the process. Thanks for the reply!
