Clerks much less so than Amy, but the fact remains that of those 3, Mallrats is without a doubt the silliest. I think there's a happy ending because it was more of a "feel-good" movie overall than the others. Dogma has a happy ending as well, by the way - Bethany is brought back to life and impregnated. I thought that was pretty happy.
