A lil over the top but from what I've seen of Rock...that's normal. I found it funny in the beginning but then he kept going on and on...and it lost its flavor a little. The weird thing though...I've found myself sniffing people and going "cracker cracker cracker? I smell cracker." SO there obviously a lot of appeal and humor there. Heeheehee...boy that gets me some straaanger looks.

: Not much has been said abotu Chris Rock's character. I think the writing was funny... and I know why Smith did it, but I just disliked the character. I thought it was a little too over-the-edge. As much as I hate to admit it, Ebert was write. During that scene their was just a tense quiteness in the audience... no one really knew how to react.

: It also, really wasn't the writing, because if you break it down, it was really funny. However, the way Rock did it was too over-the-top. He should have toned down.

: That, however, didn't make my thoughts of the movie go down at all. I loved it, and thought it is only bettered by Clerks.
