I thought the original aspect ratio of Clerks was 1.85:1? That's the way it is on the DVD...so how could that be the same as a regular TV screen? Sure, maybe there wouldnt be any actual panning and scanning, since it wasnt shot in Super 35 and the picture doesnt have much scope, but you're still losing some of what's going on when you watch the P&S TV version, right? Or do I simply have no fucking clue what I'm talking about? (which is a distinct possibility)
