I'm not the kind of guy who will stand there and go "Cough, cough. Excuse me, you're killing myself." Believe me, I'm not. If I have a problem with cigarette smoke, I go somewhere else. Smokers have a right to be there, they just shouldn't have the right to light up in a public place. I don't appreciate it, and there are millions of others that don't, either.

Yes, the commercials are disgusting, but I think the schock factor is working. A friend of mine quit because she saw that old lady smoking out of the hole in her neck in that commercial. Is she done for good? I don't know; I hope so.
And yes, I believe tobacco companies are evil fucks. For the record, I don't think they market to children, but I'm almost certain they manipulate the nicotine levels in their cigarettes to make it all the more addictive.
Still, in the long run, it's the smoker's fault he or she is addicted, because they were the ones who were dumb enough to start in the first place.
