If he were still working at Quick Stop, miserable, then I'd be pretty bored with the whole thing. I don't expect immedeate change, cause it doesn't happen over night, and I don't expect him to be a billionaire. I don't even expect him not to whine (cause thats what he does). I DO want him to have accepted his fate or mastered his own destiny. I hardly feel thats a wrong thing to want of a character that I'm sure the majority of us feel a strong connection to.
Cause if he's still working in Quick Stop... Well, not everyone is Kevin Smith, but jeepers creepers, doesn't that dude shine as a beacon of hope for us hopeless? If he can get out of that hell, why can't I? So if Dante hasn't... I dunno... Think about it.
