If you have cable (or a sat. dish) and get Bravo, I would highly recommend watching Stallone on Inside the Actors Studiio next time they replay it. It reran today and I only caught part, but my husband has seen the whole thing and from the part I saw, I must say, that we both have found a new regard in which we hold Stallone as an actor. A couple of weeks ago, I don't think I would have even thought about taking up for him, but...well...wow!

I'm irritated with Russel Crowe. He can't take a joke. He seems to think he's God's gift to acting, women and everything in between and he wasn't that good in Gladiator. We both enjoyed the movie, but neither my husband nor I actually felt it was worth an Oscar.

And since I'm venting...I am most irritated by how greatly the Academy snubbed the Patriot. Now, THAT was a movie!
Ok, I think I'm done now.

: Stallone or Van damme????? I don't think so my friend!!!!

: For crying out loud, they are bad action movie stars!! Not actors!!!

: The role of Maximus did not require an action man, but an actor who is athletic!!! Russell, yes I'm on first name terms, is exactly that!

: Of course he frowns for the whole movie, he's at war, then his family get slaughtered!! Not a happy scenario!!!! No reason to be happy!!!

: He smiles (ish) as he is dying 'cos he knew he would be seeing his family again!!!! Could you imagine Stallone or Van Damme trying to pull off that scene??? No, thought not!!!!

: Thanks for listening!!!
