I read an article recently stating that some things Jay says in the diner in Chasing Amy were Kevin Smiths subtle hints at sort of apologizing for Mallrats (even though i personally enjoyed it the most).
Jay says something about not doing that shit ever again, after Holden asks about hanging at the mall. And later Jay says that "snootchie Bootchie" is fucken baby talk.
Are these subtle hints that Mallrats will never be revisited or are they in anyway apologies etc.??? Thanx.
